How diamond deals differ from gold
Rough diamonds carry everything gold carries — advance-fee fraud, fake documents, inflated claims — plus two extra layers: valuation subjectivity and certification law. A parcel's worth depends on expert grading of individual stones, and lawful international trade in rough diamonds runs through the Kimberley Process certification scheme. Any offer that sidesteps certified channels is not a bargain; it is contraband or a con.
What we finance and verify
- Purchase of rough diamond parcels from licensed sellers in Sierra Leone, Liberia and other certified-channel origins
- Independent valuation by recognised evaluators before financing is committed
- Government valuation, royalties and export duties paid directly to the authorities
- Certified export documentation, insurance and secure freight to the buyer's destination
As with gold, the buyer pays nothing upfront. Settlement follows delivery and the buyer's own expert inspection, per the signed agreement.

Our deepest diamond capability is in Sierra Leone — the Kono fields are an hour's conversation from our Freetown head office — with active coverage in Liberia and case-by-case work elsewhere in the region. Diamond due diligence is slower and stricter than gold; we make no apology for that.
