You have the gold. We verify it, and we bring you a buyer who is real.
Across West Africa the hardest part of selling is not finding someone who says they will buy. It is finding someone who actually can. We verify your goods on the ground, we verify the buyer just as hard, and we finance the export costs that stall most transactions before they start.
The problem on both sides
Real sellers and real buyers cannot find each other
A licensed dealer with genuine material spends months talking to buyers who have no funds. A funded buyer walks away from genuine parcels because they have been shown convincing photographs and forged licences too many times. Both sides are right to be cautious, and both lose.
What the seller experiences
Enquiries that go quiet at the moment money is due. Buyers who ask for the goods to move first. Export taxes, licence fees and freight falling due long before anyone pays. Genuine material sitting still because the costs of shipping it cannot be met.
What the buyer experiences
Photographs of bars that may or may not exist. Licences in a name that does not match the seller. Requests for advance payment dressed up as tax. A market so saturated with fraud that credible suppliers are dismissed alongside the rest.
How it works for sellers
From registration to settlement
Our team does the verification work, in country, in person. You are not asked to prove yourself over email to someone who has never left their office.
You provide: basic details
Register your goods
Tell us what you hold, where it is, and what licence you carry. It takes a few minutes and costs nothing. You receive a reference number immediately and a case manager makes contact.
You provide: company documents
Documents and licence
Company registration, director identification and your mining, dealer or export licence. We confirm the licence directly with the authority that issued it, because a document alone proves nothing in this market.
Outcome: provenance established
Source and chain of custody
We trace the goods back to a named mine, concession or lawful holding and document how they came into your hands. This is what makes your parcel acceptable to institutional buyers and to the banks behind them.
We pay: inspection and testing
Our team verifies the gold on the ground
An agent appointed and paid by us attends in person, sights the goods, weighs them on calibrated equipment and photographs them. An independent laboratory we instruct assays the parcel. You do not choose the agent and you do not pay them, which is exactly why a buyer will trust the result.
Outcome: verified status
You join the verified register
Once every check has passed you are placed on our verified register. Your details are never published and no buyer can browse them. You are named to one buyer at a time, for one transaction, under a confidentiality undertaking.
Outcome: a buyer who can actually pay
We match you to a verified buyer
Not an enquiry, not an expression of interest. A buyer whose identity we have checked, whose company we have verified, and whose source of funds we have confirmed independently.
We pay: taxes, licences, freight
We finance the export
Government taxes and royalties, export licence fees, assay, insurance and secure freight are pre-financed by us and paid directly to the authorities and institutions concerned. Never in cash, never through an intermediary, never to you.
Outcome: you are paid
Delivery and settlement
The consignment reaches the buyer, the final assay confirms it, and settlement follows on the agreed terms. Our fee is paid by the buyer, not deducted from you.
The part most platforms skip
We verify the buyer as hard as we verify you
A seller introduced to a buyer who cannot pay has wasted three months and a shipment of goodwill. Every buyer we introduce has been through our own process before they are ever put in front of you.
Identity and company
Full KYC on the buyer: identification, company verification and background checks, plus evidence of capability or experience in the minerals trade where relevant.
Source of funds
Confidential verification that the money to settle actually exists and that its origin is legitimate. A buyer who will not evidence their funds does not reach you.
Ability to receive
Import permissions, destination requirements and refinery or vault arrangements confirmed, so the consignment is not stopped at the far end after you have parted with it.
What you will need
Prepare these, but do not send them yet
You need none of this to register. Your case manager will request each item at the right time and tell you exactly where to send it.
- Certificate of incorporation for the selling company
- A valid mining, dealer or export licence
- Identification for every director
- Evidence that the goods belong to you
- Tax identification number for the company
- Kimberley Process certificate, for diamonds
One requirement has no exception. The licence must be current and held in the name of the company that is selling. A licence belonging to an associate, a relative or a former partner cannot be verified by us, and we would rather say so at the start than after you have spent three weeks on paperwork.
Your details stay private
We do not publish a seller directory and we do not let buyers browse our register. Your name, your licence, your holdings and your location are disclosed by our team alone, to one named buyer, for one specific transaction, under a confidentiality undertaking.
In some of the places we work this is a matter of personal safety and not only of commercial confidence. We treat it that way.
Verification does not expire quietly
Licence confirmations and screening are repeated on a fixed cycle. An inspection covers the parcel inspected and lapses after ninety days. An assay describes one parcel and is never carried over to another. A seller verified in March is not a seller verified today, and we do not pretend otherwise.
Register your gold or diamonds
It takes a few minutes, costs nothing, and commits you to nothing. A case manager will contact you to begin verification.
